COVID-19 has put a renewed spotlight on the importance of remote work. However, whether or not the pandemic is the tipping point for remote work to become the new normal remains to be seen.
Although furloughs and layoffs have been widespread during the pandemic, the unemployment rate in the U.S. fell to 8.4% in August (from 10.2% in July) and the economy gained 1.4 million jobs.
And while we can’t say for certain which jobs and industries will continue hiring during the coronavirus pandemic, the companies on this list have remote jobs that are hiring now on FlexJobs, a subscription service with an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau for job seekers that features flexible and remote jobs.
