
Career Cloud recently ranked Colorado No. 2 in the country in their “Best States for Remote Job Seekers,” which evaluated all 50 states across employment data, internet access, and remote job growth through 2028.
Utah (score of 4.825) was named the best state for remote workers, while Mississippi (score of 1.46) ranked among the worst.
Overall, here’s how Colorado (score of 4.606) ranked in each of three categories:
Employment data: 57.22 (5th highest)
Job growth: 30.8% (2nd highest)
Broadband access: 91% (2nd highest)
“We wanted to understand which states are best for remote workers, both today and tomorrow, so we analyzed employment data, job growth, and broadband access to find out which states have high rates of these jobs today and where growth will be the strongest over the next several years,” stated Career Cloud
Colorado, D.C., Washington, and Virginia were listed as the top five states, while Louisiana, Alaska, Maine, and Wyoming were among the bottom five.
